DESCRIPTION
SilNylon or SilPoly
The Lanshan 2 Pro Gen2 is available in two fabric options: SilNylon and SilPoly. The former offers exceptional strength, while the latter has a much lower water absorption rate. In tear resistance, these materials provide 45 N (SilNylon) and 18 N (SilPoly), respectively—SilPoly is sufficient for general camping conditions, while SilNylon is better suited for extreme weather.
Because SilPoly’s water absorption rate is only 0.5%—one-tenth that of SilNylon—and it does not sag when wet, many people prefer this material. Please choose the fabric that best fits your actual needs.
“T“ zipper door
The doors of the Lanshan 2 Pro, including the inner mesh doors, can be fully opened. We achieved this feature using three YKK #3 zippers, adding almost no extra weight. You can enter the tent from any direction, making it incredibly simple when packing and organizing your hiking gear.
In the Lanshan Gen2 fly, we replaced the traditional zipper-and-storm-flap combination with a YKK waterproof zipper, making the tent lighter while enhancing its waterproof performance.

Condensation Guard
In the Lanshan Gen2, we have added a highly practical feature. We found that the head and foot areas of a sleeping bag are particularly susceptible to condensation, so we placed a solid nylon condensation guard at both ends of the tent. This helps reduce the impact of condensation on your sleeping bag to some extent.
If you think this feature is unnecessary, you can cut off these two pieces of fabric, which will reduce the weight by about 20 grams.
Double Side Silicone Fabric
Unlike most tents where one side of SilNylon/SilPoly is coated with a PU layer, the SilNylon/SilPoly(to be released later) used in the Lanshan Pro series is silicone-treated on both sides. As a result, it cannot be laminated with other coatings, nor can factory-applied waterproof tape be used on the seams. This approach maximizes the fabric’s tear resistance, ensuring the tent can withstand even severe storms.
This type of fabric is challenging to work with, which is why large factories typically avoid orders involving it, and only niche brands use it. At 3FULGEAR, our sewing team has years of experience handling this slippery fabric, allowing us to expertly manage the difficulties it presents during the sewing process.
Due to the slippery nature of this fabric and its tendency to attract dust, we will not use this material for tent floors.

The tent uses silicone as the water-repellent treatment and contains no PFAS.
The packaging and hangtags are made using recycled paper. The moisture-proof bag is made from recycled plastic materials.
This is a pro version of Lanshan 2, inner layer and fly are connected together, and we shift the PU-Sil-nylopn to Double Sil-nylon! So it became more lighter and durable than classic version!

I’m no expert on tents but bought the Lanshan Pro 2 2026 based on YouTube reviews, the weight and the cost. Have used for 3 consecutive nights during end of May in the UK where the temperature was 12 degrees Celsius at night with some rain and 15/20mph wind gusts. Me and my son both 6’0 and slim and we slept fine and warm with 2 Vango Thermocore camping mats side by side and 5 degree comfort sleeping bags. Because of the zip doors pitching quite high it does get draughty which was fine for the mild nights and refreshing but not sure I’d be using this single skin tent in cold temperatures even with a decent sleep system. (I know it can be pitched lower down by reducing the pole length which I did once but still draughty. Condensation was not an issue until the last night where the wind dropped and condensation formed. This wasn’t a problem as the tent is long enough for feet and head not to touch if careful and condensation didn’t build up on the mesh sides next to us. We didn’t have any serious rain upon pitching but if 2 people in it I think it would be challenging in the wet and wind to keep everything dry while setting up sleep systems etc. But I’m guessing this would be the same for any small 1-2 person tent.
The tent is easy and quick to pitch, especially with the mod kit of extra pegs and ground sheet and there is enough room under the doors to stash a large 65 litre rucksack and other kit. It’s sturdy and feels strong and will happily use again this summer but would choose another tent for the colder months.
