This is a full length mat approximately 195cm , to save more weight these can easily be cut down to save even more weight , make it 150cm and use the off cut to fit in your camping chair for extra warmth !
Our own ultralight , multi purpose camping mat to provide a non slip barrier between your sleep pad and tent floor .
Weighing in @ 80/90grams and measuring 195cm x 50cm approx, lay the mat under your inflatable mat to protect it and to stop slipping on the tent floor.
it also adds a little R value to your sleep system, folding it up it can be used as a sit mat ,knee pad , back rest there are so many uses.
Strap to the outside of your pack as it doesn't absorb water and you will hardly know its there.

Simple but effective protection for you sleep pad
Does the job. Sleep mat does not slip and gives protection from pesky sharp objects. And is light enough not to be culled for bag lightening
I bought one of these on a whim and fingured it would be useful under my light, but not great R rating, mat. It has done well, providing a semi non slip grip against my tent floor and also imrpoved the warmth over a very cool couple of April nights. Personally wouldnt use on its own but well worth the money.
I had a couple of poor sleep camps due to not having a perfect flat pitch, then got one of these mats to replace my silver foil mat that was not grippy.
What a difference still in the same spot in the morning as when I went to sleep. Won’t go with out it now.
I wanted to use this Light AF mat a few times before leaving a review and I have to say I’m impressed.
It’s ridiculously light, it keeps your air mattress in place and gives a degree of protection and warmth too.
I highly recommend it and as always; Colin and Outdoor Gear Essentials are just brilliant.
