Night Cat Flat Hammock

I have been using hammocks for more than 20 years. For most of that time, I used a regular hammock, but for the last 5 years, I have been using the fabulous Haven Tent flat hammock. However, the weak point of the Haven Tent is that the flat floor relies entirely on the air mattress to stay flat. If the air mattress deflates, it rapidly becomes uncomfortable.
This is why I decided to give the Night Cat Flat Hammock a try, and... I absolutely hate it because it is dangerous!
Last night, I used my Night Cat Flat Hammock for my first full night. While the initial setup went perfectly—using sturdy trees about 30–40 cm in diameter and pulling the straps very tight, exactly as recommended—the hammock completely flipped over after about four hours of sleep (I likely moved close to the side while sleeping).
I fell directly into the mesh screen and tarp, while the floor of the hammock flipped to its initial position above me. This trapped me inside my sleeping bag within a very tight pocket created along the side of the hammock, not touching the ground. Squeezed into this fabric pocket, I began to suffocate, and it took several minutes of intense struggling to finally break free. As a result of the flip, the aluminium poles are now badly kinked, leaving the aluminium poles'roof structure severely warped and offset.

Following this dangerous experience, I have updated my review to give the Night Cat Flat Hammock a 0/10. Additionally, a companion of mine who was using the regular Night Cat Hammock also flipped over twice during that same night.
To summarize, these products are HIGHLY DANGEROUS and I am completely unsatisfied. My extensive experience with various types of hammocks, combined with this terrifying ordeal, forces me to warn others: DO NOT BUY the Night Cat Flat Hammock. It is a DANGEROUS device.
The equipment all seemed to be well made and well thought out and very comfortable. However I tend to change the sides I sleep on and move a lot and ended up tipping out the side and ripping the rain fly cover and bending the poles the first time I used it.I'm sure it would be good for anyone who hardly moves when they sleep. I think I am just not cut out for any hammock !
It had a hole in the fly netting upon opening and i emailed the comapny for a replacement and have had little to zero contact back from them. Still awaiting a replacement or refund.
Product is good, sellers are not.
Good system for multi use applications. Easy to setup and very stable.
I am pleased with service from this company especially when I pleasantly discovered some chocolates in my order twas a very nice touch 😁 the product I believe will be excellent from the research I've done so I'll confidently give every thing here 5 stars.
